June brings our annual choices for which health and other insurance programs we will sign up for. Yes, it matters. SDCERS has been scampering to react to the City driven change from HealthNet to Cigna; several opportunities are being prepared to help us with our decision making – in-person, online, by phone, and documents coming in the US Mail. Also, our involvement with SDPEBA and MEA have dramatically expanded your choices. It may be worth your time to look over the options now available.
Do not show up at the War Memorial Building June 12th expecting us to be having a meeting! We take a break in June, but we’ll be at the informative SDCERS open enrollment Kick-Off May 30th and the annual Health Help Day on June 22.
